AutoCalcul

Terms and conditions

The rules that apply when you create an account or subscribe to an AutoCalcul plan — whether you are a private individual, self-employed or a company.

Version in force — last updated: July 2026.

This translation is provided for information purposes. The French version prevails in case of discrepancy.

1. Who we are

The website autocalcul.be (“the Site”) and the AutoCalcul service (“the Service”) are published and operated by Stella Advisory SRL, a private limited company under Belgian law, whose registered office is located at Rue de Nieuwenhove 16, boîte 4, 1180 Uccle, Belgium, registered with the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under number 1021.145.526 (RLE Brussels), VAT BE 1021.145.526 (“AutoCalcul”, “we”).

Contact: contact@autocalcul.be.

2. Definitions

“Customer”: any person who creates an account on the Site or subscribes to a Plan.

“Consumer”: the Customer, a natural person, who is acting for purposes outside their commercial, industrial, craft or professional activity (Art. I.1, 2° of the Code of Economic Law).

“Professional”: the Customer who is not a Consumer (self-employed person, company, accounting firm, fleet manager, etc.).

“Plan”: one of the subscription plans described in Article 6 (Free, Pro, Firm, Enterprise).

“Customer Content”: the data entered or imported by the Customer into the Service (vehicles, tax profiles, comparisons, logo).

3. Purpose and acceptance

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern access to the Site, the creation of an account and subscription to the Plans. They apply to all Customers, Consumers and Professionals alike; where a clause concerns only one of these categories, it says so.

Creating an account or subscribing to a Plan constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of the Terms in force at the time of the order. The Terms prevail over any general terms of the Customer, unless otherwise agreed in writing (Enterprise plan).

4. Description of the Service

AutoCalcul is an online decision-support tool that calculates the total cost of ownership (TCO) of vehicles in Belgium: taxation (deductibility, registration tax (TMC), road tax, benefit in kind (ATN), CO2 contribution), energy, insurance, maintenance and depreciation, according to the official Belgian rates and the assumptions entered by the Customer.

Some features use artificial intelligence (extraction of data from listings, estimation of missing fields). Values produced by the AI are flagged as such in the interface and remain editable by the Customer. Regulatory tax quantities (registration tax, road tax, benefit in kind, contributions) are never estimated by the AI: they are calculated from the official tables.

The Service provides indicative results, based on the information entered and on default assumptions documented on the Methodology page. It does not in any way constitute tax, accounting, financial or legal advice. The Customer remains solely responsible for the decisions they make (purchase, leasing, choice of regime) and it is up to them to have any binding decision validated by a qualified professional.

5. Account

Creating an account is necessary to use the Service. The Customer undertakes to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

Credentials are personal. The Customer is responsible for the confidentiality of their login details and for the actions carried out from their account. In the event of unauthorised use, they shall inform AutoCalcul without delay.

Authentication and account management are operated by our provider Clerk; subscriptions and payments by our provider Stripe. We never have access to your password.

6. Plans and prices

Free: €0 — 1 saved vehicle, 1 tax profile, limited AI quota. Pro: €9.95 excl. VAT/month (€12.04 incl. VAT) or €95.95 excl. VAT/year (€116.10 incl. VAT); the Pro Plan is personal, linked to the user’s account. Firm: €39.00 excl. VAT/month (€47.19 incl. VAT) or €390.00 excl. VAT/year (€471.90 incl. VAT) per user; the Firm Plan is subscribed by a firm space (organisation) for all of its members, each member counting as one licence, and billing is adjusted pro rata each time a member joins or leaves. A Firm licence subscribed on a personal account before the introduction of firm spaces is attached to the firm that its holder creates or administers, without further billing. Enterprise: on quotation. Details of the features of each Plan are set out on the Pricing page.

The prices shown incl. VAT include Belgian VAT at 21%. The VAT actually applicable is calculated at the time of payment according to the Customer’s country and status (reverse charge for VAT-registered Professionals established in another EU Member State who have provided a valid VAT number).

We may change the prices of the Plans. Any change is notified to the Customer at least 30 days before it takes effect, and applies only from the next renewal. A Customer who refuses the new price may cancel their subscription before that renewal, free of charge.

7. Payment and invoicing

Pro and Firm subscriptions are paid by bank card, via our payment provider Stripe. No card data passes through our servers. The applicable VAT is calculated and added at the time of payment; Professionals are invited to enter their VAT number when ordering.

Payment is due in advance, on subscription and then at each renewal (monthly or yearly depending on the plan chosen).

An invoice is issued for each payment and made available to the Customer. In accordance with Belgian legislation on electronic invoicing, invoices for VAT-registered Professionals established in Belgium are issued as structured electronic invoices and transmitted via the Peppol network, on the basis of the VAT number provided by the Customer — which the Customer undertakes to provide and keep up to date. A PDF copy remains available for information.

If a payment fails, the Customer is notified and the payment is retried. Failing regularisation within 14 days, the subscription may be suspended and then downgraded to the Free Plan, without prejudice to any sums still due. The Customer’s data is retained in accordance with Article 8.

8. Term, renewal and cancellation

The subscription is concluded for the chosen period (one month or one year) and is tacitly renewed for an identical period at each expiry.

The Customer may cancel at any time, in a few clicks, from their account (subscription management). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period: the Customer retains access to their Plan until that date, and no sum is due thereafter. Except where the guarantee in Article 10 or the right of withdrawal in Article 9 applies, periods already started are not refunded pro rata.

After downgrading to the Free Plan, data exceeding the limits of that Plan is kept in read-only mode for 6 months, and may then be deleted after notification. The Customer may export their data at any time as long as their Plan allows it.

We may terminate or suspend an account in the event of a serious breach of the Terms (Article 11), after a prior formal notice that has remained without effect except in urgent cases, or with 3 months’ notice if we cease to operate the Service — with a pro rata refund of periods paid for and not used.

9. Right of withdrawal (Consumers)

In accordance with Articles VI.47 et seq. of the Code of Economic Law, the Consumer has a period of 14 calendar days from subscribing to a paid Plan to withdraw, without giving any reason and without cost.

To exercise this right, an unequivocal statement sent to contact@autocalcul.be before the expiry of the period is sufficient — for example by means of the model form reproduced in the annex to these Terms.

By subscribing, the Consumer expressly requests the immediate performance of the Service during the withdrawal period. By way of derogation from Article VI.51, § 3 of the Code of Economic Law, and as a commercial gesture, withdrawal exercised within the period gives rise to a full refund of the sums paid, without pro rata billing of the period of use.

The refund is made using the same means of payment, within 14 days of receipt of the request.

10. 14-day money-back guarantee

Beyond the statutory right of withdrawal reserved for Consumers, we offer all Customers — including Professionals — a commercial 14-calendar-day money-back guarantee on the first subscription to a paid Plan (Pro or Firm, monthly or yearly).

To benefit from it, simply send a request to contact@autocalcul.be within 14 days of the first subscription, without having to give any reason. The refund is full and is made within 14 days, to the means of payment used.

The guarantee applies once per Customer. It cannot be combined with the right of withdrawal for the same payment and does not apply to renewals or to subsequent changes of Plan.

11. Acceptable use and quotas

Each Plan includes limits (number of vehicles, profiles, daily quota of AI calls) set out on the Pricing page. These limits are enforced server-side.

The following are prohibited: sharing an account outside the Customer’s organisation, reselling or making the Service available to third parties (other than handing over exported reports, authorised in Article 12), automated or mass extraction of the catalogue or of the calculations, circumventing quotas or technical measures, reverse engineering the Service, and any use contrary to the law.

In the event of a breach, we may suspend the account after notification (immediately in the case of manifest abuse endangering the Service), without compensation and without prejudice to our other rights.

12. Exported reports and white label

The Customer may freely use, transmit and distribute the exported Excel and PDF reports in the course of their activity, including to their own clients.

The Firm Plan allows the Customer’s logo to be placed on reports (white label). The Customer warrants that they hold all the necessary rights to the logo they upload and to its use; they are solely responsible for the use of the reports they hand over to third parties, including the advice they base on them.

The reports state that the amounts are indicative. The Customer undertakes not to remove or hide this statement.

13. Intellectual property

The Site, the Service, the calculation engine, the editorial content and the AutoCalcul trademark remain the exclusive property of Stella Advisory SRL. Subscribing to a Plan grants the Customer a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the Service for the duration of the subscription.

Customer Content remains the property of the Customer. The Customer grants us only the technical licence necessary to host and process this content in order to provide the Service.

14. Personal data

The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of the contractual information. Data controller: Stella Advisory SRL.

15. Availability and evolution of the Service

We make every effort to ensure continuous access to the Service, without however guaranteeing uninterrupted availability: maintenance, updates or incidents (including at our hosting, authentication, payment or AI providers) may cause temporary interruptions.

We may develop the Service (features, updated tax rates, AI models), without substantially degrading the essential features of the Plan subscribed during the current period. Tax rates are updated diligently when legislation changes, without any guarantee of completeness or immediacy.

For Consumers, the statutory conformity guarantees applicable to digital services (Articles 1701/1 et seq. of the old Civil Code) continue to apply.

16. Liability

The results of the Service are provided for information purposes, on the basis of the data entered by the Customer and documented assumptions. We do not guarantee that they correspond to the tax or accounting treatment that will actually be applied to the Customer’s particular situation. The Customer is solely responsible for their decisions and for verifying the results before any commitment.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability, on any ground whatsoever, is limited to the amount actually paid by the Customer for the Service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, and indirect damages (loss of profit, loss of opportunity, commercial loss) are excluded.

These limitations do not apply in the event of fraud or wilful misconduct, in the event of death or personal injury, or in cases where the law prohibits limiting liability. With regard to Consumers, they do not affect the rights that the law mandatorily grants them.

17. Changes to the Terms

We may amend these Terms. Customers with a paid Plan are informed of any substantial change at least 30 days before it comes into force. A Customer who refuses it may cancel before that date; continued use of the Service after it comes into force constitutes acceptance.

The version in force is the one published on this page, with its update date.

18. Miscellaneous provisions

If a clause of the Terms is declared void or unenforceable, the other clauses remain in force; the clause concerned is replaced by a valid, economically equivalent clause.

Failure to rely on a breach does not constitute a waiver of the right to rely on it subsequently.

The Professional Customer accepts that the records and technical logs of the Service constitute evidence between the parties, unless proven otherwise.

19. Applicable law and disputes

The Terms are governed by Belgian law.

In the event of difficulty, contact us first at contact@autocalcul.be: most situations are easily resolved. The Consumer may also contact the Consumer Mediation Service (North Gate II, Boulevard du Roi Albert II 8, boîte 1, 1000 Bruxelles — mediationconsommateur.be).

Failing an amicable resolution: for Professionals, the courts of the judicial district of Brussels have exclusive jurisdiction; for Consumers, the competent courts are those designated by law (in particular Article 624 of the Judicial Code).
